Laura Sturdevant, L.C.S.W. is a holistic mental health practitioner with over 15 years of experience in mental health and substance use services. With a range of roles from housing, case management, group therapy through individual counseling her approach provides a diverse perspective that encourages you to go beyond traditional talk-therapy and move towards wellness in all areas of your life.

Philosophy and Approach
In a world where therapy and counseling can be intimidating or daunting, the goal is to meet you where you are in your life and support you throughout your wellness journey. Your definition of recovery is as unique as you are and the hope is to partner with you as you take steps towards this goal. Integration of mind-body tools with traditional talk-therapy is the theme of the sessions. A guiding principle in this practice is to understand your values. Learning what is important to you will help you find the motivation to make the changes you want for yourself. This approach will allow you to be more present and satisfied in your life, less troubled by the past, and more optimistic about the future.
